Daisuke is a certified sake sommelier, shochu sommelier, sake instructor, and SSI-certified taster with extensive expertise in the world of Japanese alcohol. His fascination with sake began during his student years, quickly leading him to earn his sommelier certification and join a major liquor retailer. He later became the manager at theYATA in Kanda Nihonbashi, where he developed a deep passion for hot sake—even gaining a remarkable record of preparing over 10,000 hot sake in a single year.


Now a freelance sake planner, Daisuke focuses on bringing out the full potential of various types of alcohol through different techniques, with a special emphasis on the art of warming sake. His mission is to share the diverse and unique appeal of not only sake but all types of spirits, offering a fresh and artistic perspective on how to enjoy these drinks.
